Intercultural sensibilisation
Topic
Main learning target is to prepare participants for a profound understanding of diversity, cultural by definition and cultural differences around the globe – in a business context.
Further interactive sessions will enable the participants to actively handle & profit from intercultural resources - in a business context.
Finally we will analyze the intercultural leaning model developed by Regina Reinhardt and define our next step in the process of our own intercultural competence development.
Content
Step one: Definition of diversity & culture (Hofstede, Thrompanaar…) regarding communication & behavior in business context.
Step two: Analyzing your own culture compared to others. Exercises: ‘How to appropriately say ‘no’ in various cultures?’
Step three: Analyzing the intercultural learning model developed by Regina Reinhardt: What did you learn & what’s your next learning step?
